Luca's Italian Restaurant
Said to have some of the most stunning scenery in England, the Lake District is a mecca for those interested in the great outdoors. Keswick is recognised as one of the main visitor centres of the Northern Lakes. Nestled between the two lakes of Derwentwater and Bassenthwaite, Keswick is surrounded by mountains (Fells) which are dominated by the Skiddaw range to the North. The view from the restaurant is towards just this range.

All new interior
The entire ground floor has been refitted due to the 2009 floods, so everything is new or newly decorated. This extends to the carpets, furniture, loos, fantastic new kitchen, amazing new bar area - all for your comfort and dining pleasure.

The floods of 2009
Devastation ensued during and after the floods of 2009. These three small images hardly do justice to how severe the whole episode was. The river pouring over the wall in the left-hand picture has a usual level about 3 metres lower than seen here. When you visit Luca's look over the river wall opposite us and you'll see what we mean!
